The last few weeks the digital cameras have been sitting in the bags and I've been shooting film. Not client work, but just taking the film camera around and shooting for the sake of shooting, for the sake of composition and content. I also like the idea of having to wait a week before seeing the results - it helps disassociate yourself from the images and see them with fresh eyes when the negatives are finally developed. It feels good to slow down. These six rolls will head out in the mail tomorrow.
